Commissions FAQ

Here at TripleSevenScans, we also provide translation services. Here's how it works, you want something translated...here are the steps to receive your translation:

-Send an e-mail to cedr777@gmail.com with the details of what you want translated. also it is necessary for you to include a link to the raw.

-I will then evaluate the title, if I accept the job, I'll reply with an estimate for the commission and payment details.

-If you’re a first-time commissioner you will be required to pay a down-payment; 30% of the total price regardless of the size of the commission.

-When I finish one third  of the total pages, I'll send it to you. Once I receive the rest of the full payment I'll send the rest of the pages.

-You can email me if you want to inquire the status so you can keep track of the progress.

What can I commission with you?

-We mostly do H-manga for commissions.

So how long do I wait to get my translation done?

-That depends on the content of the title; translation and editing wise as well as my current workload, when I accept a job i'll give you an estimate on how long it will take to finish via email. I normally can finish a 20 page manga in two to three days at most, again it will still depend on my current workload and the amount of work to be done. Check the blog for the queue (should there be any). Should anything happen that hinders me from completing the work in the quoted time frame I will let you know as well.

So how much will it cost?

-A typical average manga consisting of around 10 bubbles per page would cost $1.6 per page, this includes translation and editing. The costing is heavily influenced by word density. Do take note that PayPal fees are not included.

Contact me so I can give you a quick estimate of the costing in order to work out a fair price.

Which payment options do you offer?

We currently only accept PayPal.

Where can I find RAWs?

There are plenty of raws at JcafeE-Hentai Galleries and Hitomi.la. You could point me there for the raw in question.

So jobs done, what will you do with the commission after you have sent it to me?

To let other people know that the work is complete, I will post it on the blog a few days to a week after sending you the full work, giving you enough time to post it yourself somewhere else.

You may wish to upload the work to other sites and that is fine as well, I will include a credits page and your name as a commissioner in the release, I will generally put your name as Anonymous if you do not specify otherwise. Just remember to keep the credits page.

There are typos, weird grammar, ugly editing in my commission, don't you have QC? you suck!

I do try to make the releases as perfect as possible but there could be instances where I made a mistake since I'm only human after all. Should there be errors you want corrected I'll send you a corrected version via email, say a line you want changed perhaps or a typo?

  1. Do you do light novels? I would like to double-check since there isn't a statement that they're not a choice.

    1. Why? If he's just doing what he like, we get to enjoy HIS taste. But once he goes commercial, we get to enjoy someone else's taste, because once done commissions rarely stay confident.

Free Labour is good, but Paid Labour (by someone else) is better.
